My friend, while all the Bible is written for us, not all is written to us. The old testament is certainly important historically, but to cite it as our guide for living and salvation today is not the right course…Romans through Philemon are our guide as Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles (and I would argue even Messianic Jews). Ezekial 16:35–41 is about Israel which strayed from God’s commandments and paid homage to other gods / idols; as I previously stated, God would equivocate people (or nations) worshipping other gods with prostitution as they were unfaithful to Him.
